Lara Stafford-Deitsch Wins Creative Jewellery Designer of the Year 2026

I’m incredibly proud to share that Lara Stafford-Deitsch Jewellery has been named Creative Jewellery Designer of the Year 2026 at the Retail Jeweller Awards.

The award celebrates originality, creativity and a distinctive approach to jewellery design, so to have my work recognised in this way feels very special.

At the heart of Lara Stafford-Deitsch is a fascination with tactile, interactive and unconventional fine jewellery. From kinetic rings designed to spin and move, to hidden engravings, unexpected gemstone settings and playful combinations of precious metals, each piece is created to invite curiosity and interaction.

The judges highlighted my creative approach to kinetic forms, describing the collection as having a very strong design signature and praising its fresh approach to tactile jewellery. They also recognised the use of cabochon gemstones, mixed metals and the overall desirability of the pieces with one particularly lovely comment: “The Judges would buy one of her pieces.”

Winning Creative Jewellery Designer of the Year is a huge milestone for my independent jewellery brand and an exciting recognition of the ideas and craftsmanship behind every piece made in my Bristol workshop.
