ABOUT LARA

Lara Stafford-Deitsch is a Bristol-based fine jeweller. Lara is passionate about celebrating femininity through her unique and statement jewellery pieces.

Lara completed her goldsmithing apprenticeship at Nicholas Wylde in 2020 and after gaining further experience working with Tina Engell until 2022, she then embarked on her own business journey.

Combining her love of life drawing and passion for fine jewellery, Lara’s latest collection embodies the essence of modern feminism. Uniting the soft curvature and serenity of the female form with the durability and strength of metal. An ode to the strength, resilience, and elegance of the feminine.

CELEBRATING FEMININITY

“I am passionate about creating quality pieces that go beyond aesthetics and convey a powerful message. My jewellery is not just about adornment, but also a celebration of women’s strength, resilience and individuality.

Through my designs, I strive to capture the beauty of the female form and infuse it with the symbolism of strength and empowerment. Just like how jewellery is a medium for self-expression, feminism empowers women to embrace their uniqueness and assert their rights.

The two concepts are intertwined in my creative process, complimenting each other and inspiring me to create meaningful jewellery that celebrates women.”

18ct gold and platinum spinning rattlesnake ring with aquamarine, diamonds and rubies

THE rattlesnake ring

Featuring an 18ct yellow gold and platinum spinning ring set with an 18mm cabochon aquamarine, diamonds, diamond-cut rubies, and an engraved snake around the rotating central band. The snake, a symbol of the feminine, aligns with Lara’s mission to celebrate and empower femininity through storytelling in design. The aquamarine magnifies and distorts the intricate engraving of the rattlesnake beneath, which, when pushed, slithers around the circumference of the finger, allowing the wearer to view the snake and the diamond details beneath the stone from different angles. A closer look reveals diamond-set eyes, a diamond rattle, and a scattering of star-set diamonds. These hidden details create a sense of intimacy and intrigue, like a secret known only to the wearer. These subtle elements invite conversation and deepen the personal connection to the piece.

The OG Hera Ring
